Story Time

Objective

Our goal is to encourage each child to love learning through a fun and safe early childhood educational experience.

Program Philosophy

Our focus is to create a nurturing, diverse environment filled with love for self and each other. We recognize each child as a unique creation of God. In our positive school environment, children will learn responsible behavior and care for others in a group setting. Our aim is to provide a learning environment rich in discovery and experience.

Curriculum

Our curriculum identifies goals in important areas of early childhood development through the use of monthly themes, daily activities, cooperative play and enrichment opportunities.

Spiritual

Dressing Up the Snacks

Through the Bible Kids enrichment program we present simple stories of the Bible through music, flannel board stories, prayers and projects.

Musical

Children use many forms of media for self-expression, including rhythm instruments, marching, dancing, finger-play, and of course singing. Depending on current public health protocols,  students present a musical program for their families at Christmas.

Fine Arts

In addition to many opportunities for movement, dance and musical expression, we present monthly themes that feature artists and art styles designed so that even the youngest child begins to can begin to discover new ways of self-expression. Children develop their fine motor skills with the introduction of painting, gluing, coloring, and using markers and crayons.

Science

Simple principles of science are explored in a hands-on approach. We introduce and examine topics such as magnetism and floatation in a fun, inviting and developmentally appropriate manner.
